More Healing Care LLC is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and safe environment for all employees, clients, contractors, applicants, and visitors.
Sexual harassment is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
This policy applies to all individuals associated with More Healing Care LLC, including but not limited to employees, supervisors, managers, owners, independent contractors, volunteers, clients, vendors, and visitors.
Policy Statement
Sexual harassment is unlawful and violates company policy, Illinois law, and applicable federal regulations.
More Healing Care LLC maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward sexual harassment, retaliation, intimidation, or coercion of any kind.
All complaints will be taken seriously, investigated promptly, and addressed appropriately.
Definition of Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, visual, physical, or electronic conduct of a sexual nature when:
Submission to such conduct is made a term or condition of employment, services, or care;
Submission to or rejection of such conduct is used as the basis for employment or service decisions; or Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with work performance, care delivery, or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
Examples of Prohibited Conduct
Sexual harassment may include, but is not limited to:
Unwanted touching, hugging, kissing, or physical contact
Sexual jokes, comments, gestures, or innuendo
Displaying or sharing sexually suggestive images, messages, or materials
Requests for sexual favors or dates after refusal
Sexual comments about appearance, body, or personal life
Verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature toward clients or staff
Harassment via text messages, email, social media, or other electronic means
Retaliation against an individual for reporting or participating in an investigation
Scope of Coverage
This policy applies to conduct occurring:
In the workplace
In clients’ homes
During work-related travel
At training sessions or meetings
Through electronic communications or social media
During any activity related to More Healing Care LLC business operations
Reporting Sexual Harassment
Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed sexual harassment is encouraged to report it immediately.
Reports may be made to:
Agency Owner/Administrator
Supervisor or Manager
Human Resources or Compliance Officer
Designated Privacy or Ethics Contact
Reports may be made verbally or in writing. Complaints will be handled as confidentially as possible, consistent with the need to investigate.
Investigation Process
All reports will be:
Taken seriously
Investigated promptly and impartially Documented appropriately Addressed with corrective action when warranted
If a violation is confirmed, disciplinary action will be taken, up to and including termination of employment or contract, removal from client services, or legal referral where required.
No Retaliation Policy
More Healing Care LLC strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who:
Reports sexual harassment in good faith
Participates in an investigation
Opposes conduct believed to violate this policy
Retaliation itself is a serious policy violation and will result in disciplinary action.
Client Protection Statement
Sexual harassment toward clients is a serious violation of professional standards and may result in immediate termination, reporting to appropriate authorities, and potential legal action.

Illinois Workplace Transparency Act
Applicable federal anti-discrimination laws
Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) provider expectations
Healthcare-related ethical and professional standards
Policy Enforcement
Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract, and may include reporting to regulatory agencies when required by law.
