Care at Home. Support for Families. Stronger Connections to Community.
MORE HEALING CARE LLC
Care at Home. Support for Families. Stronger Connections to Community.
CARE THAT FEELS LIKE FAMILY
At More Healing Care LLC, our work begins in the home - but the value of dependable care can reach far beyond the front door.
We believe a stronger community begins with people being appropriately supported where everyday life happens: at home.
For an older adult, that may mean dependable assistance with personal routines, meals, laundry, household responsibilities, companionship, or authorized transportation and errands.
For an adult with a disability, it may mean receiving appropriate non-medical assistance while continuing to participate in everyday life with dignity, choice, and as much independence as possible.
For a family member caring for their elders, it may mean knowing they does not have to carry every responsibility alone.
For a spouse, it may mean having another dependable person available to help maintain the household routine.
For a family trying to determine what comes next, it may simply mean having someone willing to listen, understand what is needed, and explain what appropriate non-medical home care may look like.
That is where More Healing Care LLC begins.
We provide non-medical home care, but the value of appropriate support is not measured only by the hours a caregiver spends in a home.
When the right support is in place, daily routines may become more manageable. Families may have greater structure. Family caregivers may have additional help with responsibilities they have been carrying themselves. And the person receiving services can remain at the center of their own life.
Care should support the person - not take the person over.
That principle shapes the way we think about home care.
Home Is More Than an Address
Home is where routines have been established.
It is where familiar belongings are kept.
Where meals are prepared.
Where family visits.
Where birthdays have been celebrated.
Where ordinary mornings and evenings have happened for years.
For many people, remaining at home is connected to something deeply personal:
Independence.
That is why needing assistance should not automatically be treated as losing independence.
Sometimes independence is strengthened by having appropriate support where it is needed.
A person may still choose what they want to wear but need assistance getting dressed.
They may know exactly what they want for dinner but need help preparing it.
They may enjoy going to the grocery store but benefit from authorized accompaniment or assistance.
They may complete part of their morning routine independently while needing assistance with another part.
Good home care recognizes those distinctions.
At More Healing Care LLC, the question is not simply:
“What does this person need help with?”
We also consider:
“What can this person continue doing, what matters to them, and where can appropriate assistance make everyday life more manageable?”
That is dignity in practice.
That is respect for independence.
That is:
CARE THAT FEELS LIKE FAMILY
Care should feel personal without becoming unprofessional.
Support should be dependable without unnecessarily taking away control.
And the person receiving care should always remain a person first.
Support Designed Around Everyday Life
More Healing Care LLC provides authorized non-medical home services based on the individual’s needs, individualized service plan, permitted scope, worker qualifications and competency, and applicable authorization requirements.
Depending on the individual and authorized services, assistance may include:
Personal care assistance
Bathing and grooming assistance within authorized scope
Dressing assistance
Toileting assistance within authorized scope
Homemaker services
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Laundry
Companionship
Routine cueing and reminders
Medication reminders only
Approved errands and grocery-related assistance
Ambulation and transfer assistance within permitted non-skilled scope
Safety observation
Escort or transportation assistance when authorized
Respite support
Other authorized non-medical daily living assistance
These may sound like ordinary activities.
Often, they are.
But ordinary activities are what make up everyday life.
A prepared meal matters when preparing one has become difficult.
Clean laundry matters.
Being able to get ready for the day with dignity matters.
Having someone dependable arrive when expected matters.
Conversation matters.
Maintaining familiar routines matters.
Small responsibilities can have a significant effect on how manageable a person’s day feels.
We Understand the Family Behind the Client
Home care rarely affects only one person.
Behind many clients is a family member who has quietly become responsible for more and more.
Maybe you recognize yourself.
You are the one checking whether Mom ate.
You are the one taking Dad to appointments.
You are buying groceries.
You are rearranging work.
You are answering the late-night call.
You are managing your household while helping manage someone else’s.
You love the person.
You want to help.
But love does not create additional hours in the day.
Recognizing that additional support may be needed does not diminish what a family has already done.
It may simply mean the family’s current arrangement needs another layer of support.
Appropriate non-medical home care may help create a more sustainable structure.
A family member can remain involved without carrying every responsibility.
A spouse can remain an important source of companionship and support without necessarily managing every household responsibility alone.
Another family member may be better able to maintain employment, parenting responsibilities, or their own household.
And the person receiving care may continue familiar routines without depending on one relative for everything.
Supporting your loved one should not require one family member to become the entire support system.
Professionalism Is Part of Compassion
Compassion is important.
But compassion without professional standards is not enough.
Families are allowing caregivers into private homes, personal routines, and important parts of everyday life.
That requires trust.
At More Healing Care LLC:
Showing up matters.
Punctuality matters.
Communication matters.
Confidentiality matters.
Documentation matters.
Professional boundaries matter.
Following authorized service instructions matters.
Training and competency matter.
Respect matters.
And above everything else:
THE PERSON RECEIVING CARE MATTERS.
Our caregivers provide non-medical services.
They do not replace physicians, nurses, therapists, or other licensed healthcare professionals.
They do not provide skilled nursing, clinical assessment or diagnosis, medication administration, injections, wound care, therapy, medication setup, or other services requiring licensed clinical judgment.
Knowing what a caregiver is authorized to do is important.
Knowing when a need falls outside that role is equally important.
Responsible care includes knowing the boundaries of care.
We Are Building the Kind of Care Team Families Can Trust
The standards we communicate to families are also the standards we communicate to prospective employees.
We are interested in people who take pride in being dependable.
People who follow through.
People who communicate professionally when circumstances change.
People who maintain professional standards while working independently.
People who understand that entering a client’s home is a position of trust.
People who respect privacy and confidentiality.
People who accept training, instruction, and feedback.
People who document appropriately.
People who understand professional boundaries.
People who care about their reputation.
And people who want to know that their work has value.
For the right person, caregiving is more than completing a shift.
It is meaningful work.
And every shift contributes to something larger:
Your professional reputation.
If those expectations describe the way you already approach your work, we invite you to learn more about More Healing Care LLC.

Strong Home Care Requires Strong Community Connections
More Healing Care LLC does not pretend that home care solves every need.
It should not.
A client may need something outside our authorized non-medical role.
A family may need employment assistance.
A young person may need mentorship.
Someone may need clinical healthcare.
Another person may need transportation, education, financial guidance, social services, or another specialized resource.
A responsible organization should know the difference between:
“We can help with this.”
and:
“This falls outside our role, but another appropriate resource may be better equipped to help.”
That is why community connections matter.
Responsible providers should understand their scope, communicate clearly, and recognize when another professional, organization, or community resource may be more appropriate for a particular need.

From Supporting a Home to Strengthening a Community
The connection is straightforward.
When an older adult has appropriate support, the people around them may have a more sustainable routine.
When an adult with a disability has appropriate assistance, everyday participation and independence may be supported.
When a family caregiver has additional help, maintaining employment and other responsibilities may become more manageable.
When a dependable caregiver receives meaningful employment, that worker has an opportunity to build experience, income, skills, and a professional reputation.
When people are connected with appropriate resources instead of being sent from place to place without direction, navigating support can become more manageable.
That is why our understanding of care extends beyond the front door.
More Healing Care LLC remains a non-medical home services agency.
That is our role.
But the people we serve are connected to families, workplaces, neighborhoods, healthcare systems, faith communities, social-service organizations, and other parts of the community.
Good home care respects those connections.
A Broader Vision for Community Development
That broader understanding is also reflected in the developing work of Central Community Development Foundation, a separate nonprofit initiative focused on community stabilization, capability, opportunity, and economic mobility.
Its developing areas of focus include:
Workforce readiness
Employment advancement
Youth mentorship and re-engagement
Career exposure
Healthcare career pathways
CDL and transportation career exposure
Skilled-trades pathways
Entrepreneurship education
Financial literacy
Educational re-entry
Community stabilization
Business-development guidance
Strategic referrals
Community partnerships
Its guiding principle is:
WE STABILIZE FIRST. THEN WE ELEVATE.
Sustainable progress often develops in stages.
Stabilize.
Build capability.
Create access.
Strengthen responsibility.
Develop opportunity.
Elevate.
The Foundation is separate from More Healing Care LLC. Its developing mission and activities should not be interpreted as home-care services or other services provided by More Healing Care LLC.
